Development of efficient spectrum sensing techniques for mobile users.
Interference analysis, avoidance and mitigation, by network coding/ cognitive beam forming/ interference alignment.
Compressed sensing for achieving higher detection sensitivity, especially in view of wide-band spectrum sensing.
Investigate fair and efficient scheduling of end-to-end flows and cross-layer optimization catering to multimedia traffic as well as inter-networking using the spectrum server concept.
Implement a simulation platform for testing and verification of the developed algorithms.
